jumpstart coastal georgia: we want to build a better coastal georgia
Jumpstart Coastal Georgia is a small-scale real estate development training program that introduces locals to community-focused development. The program aims to revitalize communities one property at a time through training, mentoring, and providing resources to local aspiring developers.
Program components include:
- 25-hour in-person training program
- Identifying development opportunities and business models
- Assessing the economics of a deal and building a team
- Understanding sources of capital for real estate projects
- Navigating the development and construction process
- Strategies to sell or lease rehabbed properties
- Mentoring from seasoned developers
- Connections to potential partners and community developers
**No prior developer experience is required. Only residents of Chatham, Bryan, or Effingham Counties are eligible to apply.
